Great functionality, terrible interface

I got thus app so I could get google maps offline, in custom areas and custom resolution, and it does that very well. Where this app falls short though, is the interface. it took me a good 45 minutes just to get a handle on what buttons need to be pushed in what order to get anything done. Would be a great app if they could streamline that though.
Great while the images remain but they will disappear

After spending many hours scanning a number of areas to be used to help with navigation I later came back to find that more than 50% of the saved images were removed. There is no decent documentation to help one figure out all the options. It would be a 5 star app if there was a way to keep all the images from being removed. Frustrating there is no documentation in English to help with setup

Offline maps for anywhere!

I was annoyed that google maps couldn't save offline maps for some rural areas of Bulgaria, so I ed a bunch of free apps advertising an unlimited option of this and this one hasn't failed to disappoint! There are some language translation "bugs" which slowed me down from learning the app quickly (operation should be called options), but simply by trial and error, messing around, I managed through. I haven't used the tracking recording feature but I've used the area "sectioning" feature to save the offline maps. Sometimes it doesn't save-its because ing the offline maps is separate from the area feature but always make sure to save if you want to, and then it will definitely work. I like how you can pick certain icons for the the favorites, but it would be even better if you could pick emoji. Adapts well to iPad too! Overall, I'm pleased with this. Some hard work was put into it!
