Software Features and Description 631q49

1. Creating an electronic metronome interface is simple, but TrueMetronome does not cut corners: it recreates the look and feel of a real mechanical metronome; every mark on the scale is labeled with a tempo mark, the deviation angle of the pendulum depends on the tempo, and the tempo is selected by dragging the weight.

2. Moreover, the identical samples playing at the same frequency can drive any man crazy! TrueMetronome solves this problem thoroughly: all sounds are recorded from real metronomes, a beat does not affect the gradual decay of its predecessors, and each beat's sound is a little different from the others.

3. Serious musicians prefer a natural sound filled with overtones, but all metronome apps play short synthetic samples (so that the first sound stops completely before the next begins).

4. Almost all metronome apps boast about their accuracy, but s with sensitive hearing notice inaccurate beats all the time.

5. Despite the failure of other apps, perfect time is possible for TrueMetronome: its unique engine creates perfect beats with ABSOLUTE ZERO error.

6. On the lower part of the metronome, you can turn the bell on and off and select the number of beats per measure.

7. For this reason, TrueMetronome is the most accurate metronome app on any mobile platform.

8. This restriction prevents a change of tempo from accidental touches, and when you need greater precision in the selection of the tempo, there are "+" and "-" buttons as well.

9. It used to be impossible to create a perfectly accurate metronome on a mobile device.

10. You can adjust the tempo in 2 BPM (beats per minute) increments by dragging the digital weight.

11. Finally, an aesthetic, thoughtful interface is an important aspect of any application, and TrueMetronome pays particular attention to it.

  • Improving my timing

    By msjannykay (Pcmac )

I am a visual learner and love this app. The back and forth timing is accurate and it helps to see the movement. Also, I like that you can punctuate the beats by setting the bell tone strikes according to the time signatures. This is helping me correct my timing mistakes and improve my playing. I highly recommend if you need a basic, accurate, and visual metronome. Perfect for my needs at the intermediate piano level.

    I can’t get any sound
  • Ok app, simplistic on features

    By funtongue (Pcmac )

I currently have Metronome+ and have not noticed any accuracy issues this app alleges others have. Any metronome app should be based on the mobile device's built-in timer, which also runs the device's clock, and is more accurate than any mechanical metronome, so I reject this claim from the developer, unless an app is so U-intensive that it causes the device to be "laggy," which I doubt. Additionally, Metronome+ s accent beats, subdivisions, multiple meters, and multiple beat sounds. this app has a single beat and accent sound. But it is free, and Metronome+ is $1.99. For a free app, it's fine, but when the price goes back up, don't believe their claims that this app is somehow superior - there are definitely more capable apps out there.
  • fine

    By rradarr (Pcmac )

It works fine. It is easy to set and easy to start and stop (though not obvious the first time). However, I accuracy claim seems overblown; I have not noticed any inaccuracy in the other metronome apps I have tried, including Metronome+ and Steinway. Well worth trying, especially if you want a loud, complex tick. I personally prefer Metronome+ because I can tap to set the tempo; a feature I use often. Neither has a silent mode that flashes, which is often nice to have.
