This app is the interface to my this app wifi controller I purchased to control my 2019 Navien 240A water heater. Easy to install and works well. I was hesitant due to the numerous poor reviews, but my experience was very positive. The UI on this app isn’t the most intuitive, but it’s very usable and I like to scheduling interface to control the internal recirculating pump in this tankless water heater. I can control, using 10 minute increments, exactly when my pump activated and deactivated. I can also use the enable/disable button on schedule like the “hot button” feature. By default pump runs 24x7, so if I disable my schedule the pump immediately activates. When I enable my schedule, pump resumes execution per schedule. I am able to control my unit when I’m on my local WiFi, or from anywhere I have I internet connection. I’ve never had any connection issue in 1st month of use. I’ve monitored my unit and it responds exactly to the commands issued from this app, including schedule. The data points don’t seem very helpful as of yet, but the remote control via smart phone is super convenient. Using this app or the hard wired remote are the only ways to schedule recirculation, unfortunately can’t be done from units control . I received the unit yesterday attempted to install it on my system. Using the Wi-Fi was a complete disaster so I opted to hardwired ethernet, made it much simpler. There’s no clear instructions for the app itself that I could find. I have the Navien NCB-240E unit which is domestic HW and heating combined. I assume the heat off switch has to do with the heating part of the system?Another nice feature would be if the information updated on its own say every 10 seconds or so rather than having to hit the refresh button constantly. I’m doing some research with my system and constantly had hit the button to see the new readings. Boiler is great, so far app and interface needs a lot of work.

I am unable to modify my schedule. Make the interface friendly with tabs for schedule, usage, system status etc. the font is too small. Please make is better as it has a lot of good information but I am unable to access it.

I have no control of the recirculating pump and wireless controller is useless for the past 3 weeks. It stopped working, tech sent me another router thinking it was that and now blame it on the app. Well never had any product down for more than a day before, especially hardware or software issues for other apps/devices. Very slow to try and get an issue resolved and not worth getting the wireless router if you can’t at least to control the heater/recirculating pump. I am sure that this is not that difficult to fix, but there is no workable solution and was told that they are working on it. Fast forward 2 weeks and still it does not work.
